I found a new way to promote a blog, this is through Entrecard. For a new blog like this, promotion plays an important role, a blogger must find ways of encouraging fellow bloggers to check out your blog.
Entrecards scheme is simple, you earn points each time somebody clicked the “drop yours” button on the widget that is being displayed on your site, likewise, you will also earn a point each time you clicked on the “drop yours” button on the blog that you visit. This simply means that real “human” visitors are viewing your blog & maybe 1 of the 10 visitors might find your site interesting.
During the first day of joining, the Entrecard statistics is telling me that 44 of my site visitors came from the Entrecard referrals, 35 of those clicked on the “drop yours” button.
This report was confirmed by my own blog statistics, it recorded a total of 43 visitors from Entrecard, which now topped the referrers list with 65.15%.
With the points I’ve earned, I was able to buy 3 ad placements & hope to bring more traffic to my site.

I really like how well EntreCard is working for me as well, and not just because of the traffic it brings, but because of the other bloggers I get to meet and network with. In fact, I came across this blog via EntreCard.
None of the campaigns that I actually spent credits on have kicked in yet (first one I bought starts this afternoon) so I don’t know how well buying ads on more well-known blogs will do for me, but I have high hopes.
That’s awesome how most of your referrers are from EntreCard, and you don’t even have to pay a dime!
