It was 2 years ago today when I first earned money from photography, I didn’t really plan to turn pro, for me just capturing images is worth more than any money can give. But it happened, I now belong to the thousands of wedding & events photographer in the land.

I selected some photos that would represent a year of hard-work, 17 weddings, 2 pre-nup shoot, 2 debutant’s parties & a guest book shoot for a debut.

Cocoi + Irish’ Prenup at Island Cove

Opening up 2009, I was commissioned to shot an impromptu pre-nuptial shoot of Cocoi and Irish yesterday at the Island Cove Resort & Leisure Park, they will be married this coming Saturday, 17 January 2009 at St. Michael’s Parish in Bacoor, Cavite.

About 80% of the shots were shot using strobist’ principle of remotely triggered flash gun, I used 1 SB800 remotely triggered using Nikon’s exclusive Creative Lighting System (CLS).

Carmelo & Eunice’s Pre-Nup at La Mesa Eco Park

We had a pre-nup shoot at La Mesa Eco Park in Quezon City yesterday, the groom, Carmelo (Karmi’s brother) flew in from the States to exchange vows with Eunice.

The wedding will be held on 29th June 2008, 6PM at The Gazebo Royale in Quezon City.

Niko + Alda’s Pre-Nup in Manila

This is party two of Niko & Alda’s pre-nup shoot, from Tagaytay City, it’s now time to shoot the beauty of Manila. The choice was the Rizal Park & Manila Hotel where they will attend an event that night.

It will take time before they would visit the place again since they will be living in Australia.

I & Matt covered Niko & Alda’s pre-nuptial photos this afternoon from 2 venues in Tagaytay, the People’s Park in the Sky & Tagaytay Picnic Grove.

This lovely couple will tie the knot of marriage in Sydney, Australia on 2^nd day of March 2008, I wish I’d be there to cover it.

WS#7: Pre-Nup Shoot at Twin Islands, Nasugbu, Batangas

I was hired for an impromptu pre-nuptial shot, the location was at Nasugbu, Batangas. This lovely couple flew in from Britain just to be married here in the Philippines.

The couple wants a beach front set-up for their pre-nuptial shoot, we picked Nasugbu since this place is well know for having good beaches.

The almost 3 hours drive was well worth it, the view was breath-taking!

We took our trip further, the boatmen suggested that we try shooting at the Twin Island, just about 30 minutes boat ride from the shores of Punta Fuego, the site was perfect for the shoot!

The day was long but it was fun. For me, it was more than just another day in the office, it’s like having a holiday while working. Edward & Rose will tie the knot on January 3, 2008, I might cover their wedding.
