Aila Marie at Eighteen

After almost 4 months of lay-off, I’m back shooting events again. Yesterday, I was commissioned to shoot Aila Marie’s Eighteenth Birthday party at the Paradiso Terrestre in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite (just a few minutes away from SM Molino.

It feels like being a newbie again, being sidelined for quite a while has made me a little bit rusty. Check out my latest work, not much post-processing was made on the photos and most of the photos were taken using the available lights.

Marky + Lot – Wedding at Paco Park

After more than two months since my last wedding shoot, I felt a little rusty. Yesterday, we covered the wedding of Maky and Lot at the Chapel of St. Pancratius inside Paco Park. Reception was held at the Banquet room of the Garden Plaza Hotel, also in Paco, Manila.

You might notice that all photos are in black & white, I just tried a different approach in presenting a wedding, I used different black & white post processing techniques to highlight the drama of the event.

It was 2 years ago today when I first earned money from photography, I didn’t really plan to turn pro, for me just capturing images is worth more than any money can give. But it happened, I now belong to the thousands of wedding & events photographer in the land.

I saw this schedule of the 13th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta from a forum that I’m actively joining:

Although there’s no update (or announcement) yet from the PIHBF website, the schedule seems to be believable.

The wedding of Richard & Judith was solemnized at the Sanctuario de San Antonio Parish in Forbes Park, Makati City. The couple’s first meal together as a married couple was held at the McKinley Hill Clubhouse at the Fort, Makati City.

Yes, this domain (and blog) just turned 1 year today, I registered this domain to serve as my online wedding portfolio site and it proved its worth. I have not much to say, I just wish for this domain to be (more) successful in the next years to come, anyways, I created a collage of the photos I’ve taken in the past year.

WPPP Photo Congress Moved

I posted about the WPPP Photo Congress 2008 which I’m planning to attend, earlier, I received an e-mail from the WPPP Secretariat:

Greetings!
We would like to inform you that WPPP Photo Congress to be held on November 3 to 5, 2008 at the SM Mega Trade Hall 2 will be moved to May 4 to 6, 2009 at SM Mega Trade Hall 3 instead. Due to time constraint we are compelled to reschedule the event in order for us to give you an equally successful and exciting event as last year.

We look forward to your support and presence in the Photo Congress 2009 “Where Innovation Meets Artistry”.

For those who have already made their payments you will be considered as early birds as same rates apply. And we encourage others to register early to avail of the discounts. Rest assured that we will be furnishing you updates via email and text as soon as possible.
